From the ashes of HopeStation, a number of the former contributors to that site have now formed Ad Astra.  It has definite potential, and I have begun posting updated versions of my Gibraltar stories to ths site.

I'd invite any of you who are interested to join.  Your first story must be vetted by the admin, to keep the place from becoming the equivalent of Fanfic.net.  However, for those UT members this will not prove to be a problem.

Here's the link: http://adastra.shadowknightonline.com/

Contact me with any questions.

Just checked the place out, Sam.  It looks sharp.  I would ask though that you please continue to send your updates to me as well so that I can put them up on our site.  I'd like to get some more February and March updates going.

Man, I feel really bad about the HS.net repository, now.

Not your fault, Mike.  GoDaddy wanted to be bitchy and nasty about the whole affair, and ended up vindictively deleting the whole database.

Nothing you could have done about it.  Sad

The kicker is that Ad Astra's also on GoDaddy.  I warned Steff about it.  Told her to back up the db.  She said she does it weekly.

Heya Mike.  I do backup the database, but if you'd like to have an extra layer of insurance, I'll gladly send you the weekly backups so that in case my computer dies, you'll have a copy of it too.  But as of now, Ad Astra's only averaging (at most) 40MB of transfer a day.  I've got it so only Google is allowed to index, too; we're still so far away from even TOUCHING the bandwidth limits, I don't think we'll have any problems.
